Which Page-Two Rankings Are Worth Fixing: Contrast Analysis by an AI Agent on a Live Store

An agent in Orakul pulled 5 anastasiya.studio pages ranking 10–20 and compared each one with Google's top results. Two are worth fixing, one has a ceiling of 1–2 positions, the agent refused to suggest edits for one, and one has nothing to compare. Here's the data, what I changed on the site right away, and how I'll check the result in a month.

Negative SEO Link Bombing Is Real. That SEJ Disavow Story Was Something Else.

A widely shared Search Engine Journal story about a Reddit user's ranking collapse is making the rounds as proof Google can't stop negative SEO. It isn't that story — it's about someone disavowing their own paid links by mistake. The real threat is separate, and one of our clients lived through it: a coordinated spam-link attack, a same-day disavow file, and months of Search Console data that still hasn't fully recovered.

Technical write-ups are moving to Habr (Russian-only) — starting with the case of the vanishing IPv6

Technical deep-dives now live on Habr, in Russian only. Today's case: a client's site was blamed on Russian network-level blocking for three months — the real cause was three ordinary misconfigurations on one server.

The August 2026 Google Spam Update: The Real Facts, and the S-CTS Myth

A text is circulating claiming this update runs on an algorithm called "S-CTS." S-CTS is real — it's just YouTube's video-spam system, not a web search ranking mechanism. Here's what's actually confirmed, plus honest Search Console data from my own two-month-old site.

About me

My name is Max. Technical SEO consultant with 8+ years of practice, specializing in GEO/AEO since 2023. I write the Python tools I use for audits, crawling, and Django-based services, and I have run 120+ technical audits for product and content sites.

I have been in internet marketing since 2014 — industrial companies, education, events, software.

When COVID hit, I decided that a marketer who codes would outlast a marketer who does not, and learned Python. The first real scripts I wrote at my wife's request: small tools for her Teachers Pay Teachers store. They worked so well they grew into tptseo.tools — a product TPT sellers use today.

At Sundrax I ran SEO for six sites, each in seven languages — 42 versions of every decision. There it became obvious that search was changing faster than the playbooks: people were getting answers from ChatGPT and Perplexity, not only Google. I went deep into GEO, then AEO, and rebuilt my audit process around one question: can a language model read, understand, and cite this site?

Current project — Orakul: AI agent orchestrator for agencies.

This site is my lab notebook: what works, measured on real projects. And the free audits section is that notebook turned into a tool: run one and see how AI systems read your site — it costs you nothing

What's the difference between SEO and GEO/AEO?
Classic SEO optimizes a page to rank in a list of blue links. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) optimize the same page to be read, understood and cited directly by AI systems — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews — that answer the user without a click at all. Same content, different reader.
Is the free audit actually free?
Yes — one audit per browser per day, no card, no signup required. Sign in via Telegram, X, LinkedIn or VK to run more than one a day; the free tier stays free either way.
Do you take on client work or build custom tools?
Yes — see the case studies for what that looks like in practice: a SaaS platform for managing PBN networks, a multi-agent AI back office, a technical SEO turnaround for a B2B manufacturer. Message the Telegram bot via "Get in touch" in the header to talk about yours.
What's your background?
Technical SEO since 2014, across industrial, education, event and software niches. Picked up Python during COVID to stay competitive, and now build the tools I used to just recommend — GEO/AEO has been the focus since 2023.
